Yoga for the Digestive System

Spring is a time for renewal/rebirth and is the perfect time to reawaken the body through natural cleansing practices. Support your body’s natural detoxification system by mindfully choosing healthy foods that aid digestion. In this workshop, we will explore connections between yoga and nutrition as they relate to detoxifying the body and healthy digestion. We will practice common yoga postures with an added attention to alignment and breath to develop and/or strengthen the mind-body connection. Although we will be practicing ancient and well-known postures, come to class with an open mind to explore.

    • How breathing relates to the organs in the various Asanas.
