Fall is a time for harvest and is the perfect time to reawaken the body through natural nourishing practices. Support your body’s natural systems by mindfully choosing healthy foods that aid digestion. In this workshop, we will explore connections between yoga and nutrition as they relate to detoxifying the body and healthy digestion. We will practice common yoga postures with an added attention to alignment and breath to develop and/or strengthen the mind-body connection. Although we will be practicing ancient and well-known postures, come to class with an open mind to explore.
Focus is: Physical Digestive Process
How breathing relates to the organs in the various Asanas.
Our yoga practice together will segue into the monthly Essencia Yoga Satsang (community gathering) beginning at 6pm. Please stay if you’re able!
$20 for general community, and FREE for Essencia Yoga members.
