Intro to Acro Yoga is a two hour acro yoga class, introducing the art of acrobatics to the conscious movement of yoga. Acro yoga is a form of partner yoga mixed with partner acrobatics to take the practitioner to new heights. By taking the yoga practice away from a self practice and turning it into a partnership of a spotter, a base and a flyer, it creates a new dynamic in finding strength, balance and trust. The practice of Acro yoga helps individuals grow in these relationships, learning more about themselves, and how their partners of the practice are growing as well. All traits that can be taken away into the real world for our partnerships in love, business, family, and friendship.
Join the dynamic duo, Robert and Dani every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month for collaborative partner movement! Bring a familiar face along to build trust & communication, or add another element of growth by meeting a new community member to test acro heights. Next Saturday 1/19, join us for the basics of acro inversions. Except a warm up flow to prepare the body for body stacking, hollow back postures to warm up the core, and the majority of time dedicated to building ways to enhance our inversion practice both grounded and in the air with the benefit of a small group setting. Practice being upside down WHILE flying!
