In this workshop you will learn about G.I. Yoga, its background, why we are focusing specifically veterans, what is special about this population and why we include caregivers and families. It will go into trauma informed/sensitive yoga, and why all yoga should be. We will cover PTSD, anxiety and what they look like and how to teach techniques to help alleviate symptoms and more.
This workshop will count towards your Yoga Alliance Continued Education in the amount of 3 hours. You are invited to participate in our free community class form 4-5pm to demonstrate what a G.I yoga class looks like.
